Three medium intensity red aircraft warning lights, red steady or flashing 2000cd±25%, are placed on top of cathead, jib and counter-jib for a fix jib tower crane. For a luffing jib tower crane, two medium intensity beacons are placed on top of luffing jib and counter-jib, respectively.
If the tower crane is outside a building, 2-4 low intensity single obstruction lights on middle, red steady>32.5cd. If the tower crane is inside a building, the middle’s low intensity lights are not required.
